ACFR
ACFR stands for Aluminum Conductor Fiber Reinforced

Conventional ACSR

To achieve higher conductivity, it is recommended to use trapezoidal shape annealed aluminum wire for ACFR.
(TAL or hard-drawn wire is also available depending on the project requirements)
Annealed A1350-O
Conductivity [%IACS] 63.0

Hard-draw A1350-H19
Conductivity [%IACS] 61.2

Thermal-resistant TAL (AT1)
Conductivity [%IACS] 60.0

Sheave Test

  • Material
    • ACFR 160 mm2 (diameter = 18.2 mm)
    • with hard-drawn aluminum
  • Test Conditions
    • Sheave : Φ450 (D/d=24.7)
    • Angle : 60°
    • Tension : 20 % UTS
    • Passing : 20 times (shuttled)

Check the conductor parts after the sheave test

The conductor and core have no deformation or nicking
